The Future of Language Technologies in the Age of AI is a landmark international conference in Galway organized as part of Ireland’s 2026 Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Bringing together government leaders, EU institutions, technology companies, researchers, and language communities, the conference aims to place linguistic diversity and digital sovereignty at the center of Europe’s emerging AI agenda and to catalyze concrete, longer-term EU action.
The Joseph Needham Memorial Lecture at Cambridge is a distinguished annual lecture honoring Needham’s legacy and his pioneering work on the history of science and technology in China.
